You can now select HTTP status codes to judge as acceptable with external monitoring
Previously, external monitoring would judge status codes in the 200s or 300s as acceptable, but it is now possible to select the status codes to be judged as acceptable.
Select the status codes that you expect from the items in "Status Code Check" on the external monitoring settings screen.
Unsubscribe links can now be set to hidden
An unsubscribe link is shown at the end of notification emails such as alerts, host registrations/retirements, and the like, but we have now made it possible to hide this unsubscribe link via the organization settings in the web console. Use this when there is a possibility of people accidentally unsubscribing, such as when a mailing list is set to receive email alerts.
API capable of obtaining Mackerel-related metadata has been released
We have released an API capable of obtaining Mackerel-related metadata in JSON format. It is currently able to obtain the IP address range used by Mackerel. Please refer to the help page below for details.

Improvements in functionality of distributed tracing service Vaxila and labeled metrics (OpenTelemetry metrics)
Vaxila has become better integrated with Mackerel. Its functionality is also being improved
We have changed the interface to make it feel more natural by adapting the header, service colors, favicon, and the like to Mackerel, and we have also made the following improvements to the behavior of the Traces screen.
- Trace list is now shown immediately after service selection when searching for traces
- Candidates are now shown automatically when selecting attributes via Filter -> Filter By
Improvements to Metric Explorer and query graphs for labeled metrics
Labeled metrics can now be listed in table format
A list of metrics is shown by filtering on service.name
. By filtering further on the metric name, you can show what labels and values that metric has.
Query graphs can now be added directly from Metric Explorer
You can now add query graphs directly to a custom dashboard by selecting "Add to dashboard" from the menu at the top right of the graph.
More supplementary information when writing queries for query graphs
Units, data types, and descriptions will now be shown when you are writing queries. This enables you to check information on metrics while you write queries.
You can now post to notification channels and share graphs for query graphs just like with regular graphs
You can now post to notification channels and share graphs like with regular graphs in a full-screen query graph. Please refer to the help sections below for details.
