The display range of various graphs can now be specified by date and more

Hello. Mackerel team CRE Miura (id:missasan) here with another update announcement.

The display range of various graphs can now be specified by date and time

f:id:mackerelio:20210615100638p:plain

You can now specify when you want to draw the graph by clicking on the clock symbol at the top of the graph screen and selecting the date from the calendar or manually inputting it.

Until now, the display period could be specified by dragging and dropping the desired parts on the graph, manipulating the slide bar, or specifying it relatively, such as 30 min, 1h, 6h, etc. This update adds another option for specifying the display period in a more absolute, detailed manner.

You can use this feature to specify periods according to the scenario, such as campaign periods, before and after an application releases, or when a failure occurs.

This function is available to the following:

  • Host Details
  • Service Details
  • Graph Board
  • Custom Dashboard
  • Host Graph Full-Screen Display
  • Role Graph Full-Screen Display
  • Service Graph Full-Screen Display
  • Expression Graph Full-Screen Display
