Thank you for choosing to use Mackerel. The Mackerel Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be revised on 1st October 2026. The contents of the revisions are detailed below.
Terms of Service
Please note that the English version of the Terms of Use is just a translation, and that the Japanese version is legally valid.
- Article 4 (Use of personal information and user data)
- Paragraph 2: "hereinafter the same" has been added to the definition of "personal information".
- Paragraph 6: A provision has been added on the obligation to obtain consent when User Data contains personal information of the User's customers or other third parties.

Users consent that use of their personal information (refers to personal information as defined in Article 2, Clause 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information; hereinafter the same) by the Company shall conform to the Company's Privacy Policy. 1. Information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Service or these Terms that is expressly requested to be treated confidentially at the time of disclosure ("Confidential Information"), shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to a third party unless consented to in advance by the disclosing party. In addition, the party receiving the Confidential Information ("Recipient") shall use the Confidential Information only for the purpose of usingand providing, providing, and improving the Service.
